The App Developer intern will partner with fellow interns and the broader Software Engineering team at QSC. The role involves supporting the development and testing of smart device apps for professional audio products and will be based in our Costa Mesa, CA. corporate office.

Throughout the course of the QSC 2024 Summer Internship Program (10 weeks beginning June 24 and ending August 30) interns will work on-site, occasionally virtually if the opportunity arises, and have regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions and receive training customized by our business units. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the technical side of QSC. The interns will understand first-hand what a career with QSC is like and will have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network.

The estimated range for this role is $23-$25 per hour.

Learning to use essential engineering tools
• Working within a scrum software team environment
• Design code reviews with senior team members
• Implementing and testing graphical UI elements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field
• Proficient in C/C++ and/or Java
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript is preferred
• Experience with Swift is a plus
• Solid understanding of Professional Audio equipment and terminology
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
