Medicare Sales Rep - Americhoice, NY-329332

Description

The Medicare Sales Representative will travel throughout their assigned territory to meet with eligible participants with the goal to present product information and enroll participants. Some sales leads are company provided, however the Medicare Sales Representative will generate many of their own leads and should have previous experience doing so. Medicare Sales Representatives will manage their travel and territory efficiently to produce maximum results. Previous territory management experience is required. This position will also require the Medicare Sales Representative to provide their own reliable, insured transportation and a current, valid license to sell insurance in the state of New York.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED,Two-year degree preferred
- 2 year Social Service/Medicare experience or two years work experience with one year in a sales related or community capacity a plus
- Valid driver's license, and insured car required
- Health NY state license is required; Life NY license is a plus
- Familiar with New York State Medicaid/Child Health Plus programs and the needs of low-income populations
- Community marketing experience preferred
- Experience with Sales terminology is highly preferred
- Bi-lingual candidates preferred
- Dual eligible experience both Medicare and Medicaid highly preferred
